Your main objective is to lead teams of Audit and Advanced Audit Associates, who will carry out routine substantive and controls-based audit testing for the Assuran.
Key challenges for this role are to ensure that this team provides high quality results
Job Discription: Allocate responsibilities, inform supervisors of the engagement status, and manage staff performance. Adapt the audit approach to the changing client environment. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex accounting and auditing concepts and apply them to client situations. Liaise closely with the offshore team to create a strong communication channel. Discuss questions and queries promptly with onshore team, and address issues as they arise. Compare efficiency of audit procedures performed across different clients and suggest ideas for improvement. Stay informed of current business/economic developments relevant to the client’s business. Demonstrate professionalism, competence and clarity of communication when dealing with the onshore audit team. Review the work of junior team members to ensure quality and documentation standards are adhered to.
